Robbinsville volleyball's Delaney Brooms 15 kills leads WNC Week 2 fall sports top performers
Week 2 of the Western North Carolina fall high school sports season kicked off with a bang on Monday. Owen proved why it has a legitimate chance to defend its state championship from last season, beating Asheville High 1-0.

Aubrie Barnwell, North Henderson: The 5-foot-10 senior racked up 13 kills, eight aces and 11 digs in a 3-2 win vs West Henderson.
Bailey Rowe, North Henderson: The senior middle hitter recorded 18 kills, three aces and 14 digs.
Leiann Marshall, North Henderson: The senior accumulated 40 assists and 16 digs.
Peyton Taylor, North Henderson: The 5-foot-10 senior tallied 17 kills.
Hayden Koone, Owen: The senior setter tallied 23 assists and nine digs in a 3-0 win vs. Erwin.
Mia Roland, Owen: The freshman recorded 19 kills and 12 digs.
Mia Bradley, Polk County: The junior accumulated 11 kills, two aces and 14 digs in a 3-0 win vs. Reynolds.
Morgan Yoder, Polk County: The junior middle blocker racked up 12 kills, four aces and four total blocks.

Juan Argueta, Erwin: The 5-foot-5 forward scored three goals and two assists in a 9-0 win vs. Mitchell.
Ulises Padron-Perez: The senior midfielder recorded two goals and an assist in a 7-1 win vs. Blue Ridge Early College.

Morgan Yoder, Polk County: The 6-foot junior recorded 13 kills, four aces and five digs in a 3-1 win vs. Asheville Christian Academy.
Mia Bradley, Polk County: The 5-foot-8 junior tallied 10 kills and 16 digs.
Haleigh Kamer, ACA: The junior outside hitter racked up 21 kills, three aces and 20 assists.

Brandon Miranda, Enka: The 5-foot-8 midfielder recorded one goal and four assists in an 8-3 win vs. Smoky Mountain.
Caden Happensteadt, Enka: The sophomore scored two goals and one assist.
Avery Holland, Madison: The junior tallied two goals and three assists in a 7-3 win vs. McDowell.
Andres Arrieta, ACA: The 5-foot-9 midfielder racked up two goals in a 4-1 win vs. Tuscola.
Josh Hollowell, Owen: The senior forward collected a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win vs. West Henderson.
