Report: Cowboys invite Shaquille Leonard for visit after release by Colts
Former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Shaquille Leonard is scheduled to visit the Dallas Cowboys this week, according to a report.
Tom Pelissero of NFL.com posted on social media that Leonard would visit because of injuries thinning the Cowboys' unit. Leighton Vander Esch (neck) is out for the season.
The Colts released Leonard last week, but he attended their win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The team gave him a video tribute and fans gave him a rousing ovation.

Dallas is thin on linebacker depth, and Leonard wouldn’t cost much with the #Colts on the hook for his salary. pic.twitter.com/bWCtP3fnwc— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) November 27, 2023
