Report: Brooklyn Nets have signed guard Scottie Lindsay

The Brooklyn Nets have training camp beginning in one week from now, but that hasn’t stopped them for continuing to make moves to the roster to make it as strong as possible for the upcoming season.

On Tuesday, the Nets announced that they have signed guard Scottie Lindsey. Lindsey, 27, came into the league as an undrafted free-agent during the 2018 NBA Draft after spending four seasons at Northwestern. Ever since he came into the league, Lindsey has been in the NBA G League and in other pro leagues trying to find his way.

Lindsey, standing at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, most recently averaged 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 41.7% from the field and 30.1% from three-point land as a guard for the Maine Celtics, affiliate of the Boston Celtics, for the 2022-23 season. Most likely, Lindsey will be coming in to play for Brooklyn’s G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, to being this season.
