Relive dramatic ending of Patriots’ game-winning touchdown vs Bills

The New England Patriots were locked in a hard-fought battle with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.

However, New England came out on top, thanks to a game-winning drive by the offense culminating in a touchdown throw from Mac Jones to tight end Mike Gesicki.

Following a Kendrick Bourne fumble, Buffalo had just completed an eight-play, 29-yard drive to take the lead by a 25-22 margin. New England had to answer back, and they did so in style. The Patriots were able to get down to the one-yard line, and Jones found Gesicki to put the team ahead.

It was Gesicki’s first touchdown of the season, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. It also secured New England’s first win over Buffalo since 2021. Coming into the game, the Bills had won the previous four straight head-to-head games against the Patriots, but Sunday afternoon proved to be different.

Even coach Bill Belichick showed some emotion after the monumental upset victory.

The Patriots will have their work cut out for them against the Miami Dolphins next week. Nevertheless, this win could serve as a springboard for the rest of the season.
