RCTC women just miss 100 points in rout of Madison Area Technical College

Nov. 21—MADISON, Wis. — The Rochester Community and Technical College women's basketball team put on an offensive show Tuesday in burying Division II junior college Madison Community and Technical College 97-49.

The defending national championship Yellowjackets had six players hit doubles figures. Aniyah Reuben led the way with 20 points, hitting 7-of-11 field goals overall, including going 4-for-4 from 3-point range and 2-2 on free throws. Sophie Andring had 15 points, Macaya Copeland 13, Kara Goetzinger 12, Janae Bennett 11 and Cassidy Shute 10.

RCTC shot 47% from the field as a team and 39% from 3-point land. The Yellowjackets also outrebounded Madison 49-25. RCTC was unselfish, with 27 assists.

The Yellowjackets moved to 3-1 overall.
