Ravens injuries: CB Tavon Young suffers knee injury

On a day in which so many top NFL players suffered major injuries, the Baltimore Ravens weren’t immune. On the Houston Texans’ second drive, slot cornerback Tavon Young landed odd after a pass breakup and crawled to the sideline in obvious pain.

Young is officially doubtful to return with a knee injury, according to the television broadcast. However, it was noted Young was able to walk into the locker room under his own power, which could be a positive sign.

Young is no stranger to injuries, however. In his four seasons in the NFL, Young has missed two full seasons on injured reserve. When healthy, Young is one of the best slot defenders in the league, earning a contract extension from Baltimore following a spectacular 2018 campaign in which is returned two fumbles for touchdowns and had an interception.
