Rams-Cardinals injury report: Rapp still out, Jefferson limited Friday

The Rams opened the week of practice on Thursday with a walkthrough, but they still released an injury report with estimated participation levels for several players. Leonard Floyd, Buddy Howell and Taylor Rapp were all held out with injuries, bringing their statuses for the wild-card game into question.

Fortunately, Floyd returned on Friday as a full participant. Rapp and Howell remained out, and Van Jefferson was downgraded to limited after being listed as full yesterday.

Rapp suffered a concussion in Sunday’s loss to the 49ers and he must clear the protocol in order to play against the Cardinals, so it’s still unclear if he’ll do so in time.

It’s a good sign that Matthew Stafford and Darious Williams weren’t hindered at all by their injuries. They were both full participants.

For the Cardinals, Justin Pugh popped up as a limited participant Friday, and Isaiah Simmons missed practice due to a personal matter. Antonio Hamilton went from a non-participant to being limited Friday as he deals with a tooth issue.

James Conner remains out with a rib injury and Chase Edmonds was limited once again on Friday with a rib/toe injury of his own. Both players expect to play against the Rams.
