PREP SOFTBALL: Danville's hot streak cooled by Normal Community
Apr. 25—NORMAL — After winning its last two games and five of its last six games, the Danville softball team hit the road to play Normal Community.
But the Vikings were cooled off to only five hits as they lost to the Lady Iron 6-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
Gracie Briggs had the lone RBI for Danville, while Maya Gagnon had two hits.
Danville is 8-8 and will return home Saturday to play Peoria Richwoods.
