Matt Nolan and Nick Spaner had two hits apiece for the Patriots. Tyler Boudreau went 2-for-3 for the Quakers in the loss. MB senior Aidan Aggarwal, a Colby-commit who did not pitch all season due to a shoulder injury, faced one batter to open the game and, after recording an out, left to a standing ovation on what was Senior Night.

North Kingstown outfielder Blake Beattie, making a play in a game earlier this season, got an RBI double to help the Skippers defeat Toll Gate on Friday.

North Kingstown 7, Toll Gate 3

The Skippers broke open a 4-3 game with three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held off the Titans in Division I. Jamie Luna drove in a pair of runs for Toll Gate with a double to left-center in the third and an infield single in the fifth.

Coventry starting pitcher Luke Lapham carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning, but after surrendering Cumberland's only hit with one out, he got the final two outs and shut out the Clippers to keep the Oakers' playoff hopes alive.

Division III

West Warwick 2, Classical 1

Elmer Montilla-Cruz and Zach Lawrence each knocked in a run as the Wizards rallied in the bottom of the sixth inning and edged the Purple for their 15th straight win. Josh Pedus led off the inning with a walk, stole second and scored on Montilla-Cruz's single to tie it. Dom Carollo pinch-ran for Montilla-Cruz and stole second. He scored on Lawrence's single. Pedus relieved starter Carrullo in the seventh inning and struck out four and got the save.  Carrollo had tossed a one-hitter with nine strikeouts over the first six innings. Classical starter Asher Westburg went the distance, allowing five hits while striking out seven. Owen Ninneman had the only hit for the Purple, now 6-8.
