The Players Championship hosted more than 22,000 members of the military and their families last year.

The tournament has a standing order: "ya'll come back."

The Players rolled out its 2024 ticketing and initiatives for the military this week, highlighted by the Military Appreciation Day activities on March 12, two days before the first round of the 50th Players, and continuing throughout the week with the Patriots' Outpost, located near the 16th tee of the Players Stadium Course.

“The entire team here at The Players is proud to honor those who have sacrificed so much for not only our Northeast Florida community but for our country,” said Lee Smith, Players Executive Director. “We are so excited to honor and thank our brave active-duty service members and veterans with these special initiatives throughout the tournament.”

Valid identification and credentials are required. All tickets include a $20 digital voucher that can be used for food and nonalcoholic beverages on-site.

Active duty, retired, reserve and national guard members will receive a 20% discount in the PGA Tour Fan Shop (must have valid military I.D.).

Military Appreciation Day will begin with the opening of the Patriots' Outpost (presented by CSX) with service members and one accompanied dependent. The Outpost will provide complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages all week.

Ceremonies on March 12 at the 17th green of the Stadium Course will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the National Anthem by Matthew Johnson, winner of The Players National Anthem Contest and former contestant on "The Voice,” and ending with a concert by multi-Platinum country star Cole Swindell.

Veterans can purchase discounted admission for themselves and one dependent for March 12 and 13, and for one competitive round day. Those tickets also will include a $20 digital voucher that can be used for food and nonalcoholic beverages on-site.
