Pittsburgh woman celebrates 107th birthday on Easter Sunday
A Pittsburgh woman celebrated her 107th birthday on Easter Sunday.
Family members visited Gert Williamson for her busy birthday.
Some joined over Zoom but others traveled to her house in Oakland to visit her.
Williamson lives with her 89-year-old daughter. She was recently in the hospital but got out just in time to celebrate.
She met one of her great-great grandsons for the first time on Sunday. He is three weeks old.
Everyone who knows her calls her “Grandma Gert.”
Williamson has lived in Pittsburgh for her entire life and says her strong faith and the love and support of her family are what have given her such a long life.
