Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Rams: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 7 game

Two squads fighting to get back in the playoffs will meet in Week 7 as the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) will head West to take on the Los Angeles Rams (3-3).

Pittsburgh had the past week off, but the Steelers are still flying high after they were able to hold down the Baltimore Ravens for a big divisional win in Week 5. The defense was back to its usual self, and the offense had promising plays that should give Mike Tomlin confidence.

The Rams offense came alive in the second half against the Arizona Cardinals, as the running and passing game looked stellar in a 20-6 home win. With Cooper Kupp back alongside rookie Puka Nacua, the Los Angeles offense could be great once again.

Lorenzo Reyes: Rams 24, Steelers 19

Perhaps the Rams don’t put up a ton of points, but their offense is still statistically proficient. The problem for Pittsburgh is that it’s the opposite. If the Steeler defense doesn’t set the tone, it’s hard to see their offense carrying them in any given game.

Tyler Dragon: Steelers 24, Rams 20

A matchup between two of the best head coaches in the NFL. Will the Steelers defense be able to contain Rams WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua? Rams QB Matthew Stafford might not have a lot of time in the pocket. Steelers edge rushers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith have had QBs under duress this season.

Safid Deen: Rams 24, Steelers 17

Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt will give Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford some fits, but Cooper Kupp’s return to full strength gives Los Angeles the edge in this one. Kupp had seven catches for 148 yards and a touchdown last week, and will have to carry the load offensively for the Rams.

Victoria Hernandez: Rams 27, Steelers 21

The Steelers will be fresh off their bye week, but the Rams are surging with Cooper Kupp back. Last week, the Rams overcame a slow start, proving they have a well-rounded defense to keep them in the game for as long as the offense needs to get things going.

Jordan Mendoza: Rams 21, Steelers 18

The Steelers fan base is excellent so this will pretty much be a home game for Pittsburgh in SoFi Stadium. The Steelers defense against the Rams offense will be an exciting matchup, but Los Angeles is able to score just enough to get the "home" win against a Steelers team with still a bunch of question marks on offense. The Rams also get their first win against the black and gold since 2003.
