From pie-inspired cream puffs to Johnsonville offerings, here's a look at the new food options at Fiserv Forum this Bucks season

From pie-inspired cream puffs to Johnsonville offerings, here's a look at the new food options Fiserv Forum will be whipping up for fans this Milwaukee Bucks season.

"Since opening Fiserv Forum in 2018, we feel we want to continue to raise the bar," Peter Feigin, president of the Bucks and Fiserv Forum, said at a Monday news conference. "We feel like we've had some of the best food. We only want to make it better. It is all about our fans from the beginning to the end. And, we want to be the best in the world."

A lot is new this year. Johnsonville has become the new official sausage of the Bucks. There are two sets of new self-checkout kiosks.

Plus, Fiserv Forum and Deer District have a new senior executive chef, as well as a new vice president of hospitality.

New menu offerings will debut Thursday at the Bucks' home opener against the Philadelphia 76ers. Here's a preview of those, as well as this season's beverage options, and the various ways you can place your order at the arena.

Offerings from Johnsonville, the new official sausage of the Bucks, and where to find them

Sheboygan Falls-based Johnsonville has replaced Milwaukee-based Klement's as the new official sausage of the Bucks.

"At Johnsonville, flavor, fun and bringing people together is at the heart of what we do," Ryan Pociask, vice president and general manager of Johnsonville, said at Monday's news conference. "And, this is just another great way for us to do that with fans here in the state."

Johnsonville is also a partner of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, Pociask said.

Johnsonville was founded in 1945 by the late Ralph F. and Alice Stayer in their butcher shop in Johnsonville, Wisconsin.

"I can't tell you how excited to have this Wisconsin institution with us," Feigin said.

Johnsonville offerings are located at Sections 107, 118, 207 and 223, and will include:

  • Bratwursts

  • Beef hot dogs

  • Rookie dogs

  • Summer sausage sticks

  • Rotating specials will include an andouille sausage with caramelized onions, roasted peppers and aioli made with Cajun spices, as well as a brat topped with crispy cheese curds, caramelized onions and aoili made with barbecue sauce, said Keith Luce, senior executive chef of Fiserv Forum and Deer District.

"Here in the Midwest, people love good, honest comfort food," Luce said.

New dessert stand serving cream puffs

"I'm new to Wisconsin, but I'll tell you, the first thing that I was told is, 'You have to go to the state fair and get the cream puff,' " Luce said.

A new dessert stand, Sweet Spot, will be serving up "State Fair-style" cream puffs with a twist, he said. It's located at Section 206.

In addition to plain cream puffs, the stand will feature nostalgic pie-inspired cream puffs, like cherry, pumpkin and apple, Luce said.

How to get food at Fiserv Forum

There are multiple ways to order food at the arena, including via some new self-service kiosks.

To place a mobile order from your seat:

  1. Download the Bucks app.

  2. Order through the app.

  3. You'll receive a text message with the approximate wait time.

  4. You'll get a text when your order is ready and where to pick it up.

If someone doesn't want to download the app, they can order via a kiosk and wait for their order there.

New this year, there are some self-checkout kiosks for select concession items. One set of the kiosks is located by Section 116 and another is on the Upper Concourse, said Mason Gohlke, vice president of hospitality for Fiserv Forum and Deer District.

To use these kiosks, customers will place the item(s) they want to purchase on a platform that identifies the item(s) via cameras, Gohlke said. The items should be placed well spaced out on the platform. When the item is identified by the machine, its name and price will pop up on a screen next to where customers can insert, swipe or tap their credit or debit card.

Beverages being offered at Fiserv Forum this season

Fiserv Forum will continue to offer beers, wines, seltzers, ready-to-drink cocktails, sodas and more.

The arena aims to offer a signature cocktail at every game to "freshen things up," Gohlke said.

Ballers Champagne, the Official Champagne of the Bucks, will be available at select concession stands throughout Fiserv, a new release said.

Captain Morgan is adding Vita Coco Captain Morgan Spiked cans in Pina Colada, Strawberry Daquiri and Lime Mojito flavors at Sections 104 and 113, and in the Potawatomi and Jockey Clubs, the new release.

DAOU Family Estates, which made its Fiserv debut last season, will offer wines at bars throughout the arena and in the DAOU Lounge.
