The Suns began pulling away from the Jazz in the third quarter, dropping 40 points in the third.

They led the Jazz, 106-78, then continued its rout in the fourth.

Phoenix is currently up 118-92 with under 3:30 left to play.

Kevin Durant is done for the night after producing game-highs 26 points and seven assists for Phoenix, and is shooting a stellar 8-of-11 shooting.

Utah's Lauri Markanen has team-best 19 points.

Suns hold new Ring of Honor ceremony

The Suns' legends came to be honored by team owner Mat Ishbia at halftime.

The star-studded ceremony consisted of Arizona sports godfather and former Suns owner Jerry Colangelo, fellow Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and Steve Nash, as well as Nash's former teammates Amar'e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion, Dan Majerle, Alvan Adams, and Dick Van Arsdale to name a few.

"I'm not leaving Arizona 'til I'm dead," Barkley yelled to the crowd to end the ceremony at mid-court.

Gordon's hot hand builds Suns' largest lead at halftime

Phoenix jumped out to its biggest margin 16 points to end the second quarter, 66-50.

Eric Gordon scored 12 of his 21 points (9-of-12 shooting, 3-of-6 from deep) in the second period, and Kevin Durant had 14 points on 4-of-6 FG.

Utah's Lauri Markkanen has team-high 12 points, and his new teammate John Collins has game-high nine rebounds.

Durant sparks Suns for lead entering 2nd quarter

Phoenix is ahead of Utah 37-27 to end the opening period.

Kevin Durant shot well to drive the Suns early in the first quarter. He's got 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting. But Phoenix defense was what paced them to a 14-3 run shortly after the tip-off.

Phoenix caused Utah to commit seven turnovers, and Phoenix scored 12 off them. In addition, Phoenix reserves Yuta Watanabe and Jordan Goodwin extended the lead by hitting three of the Suns' five 3s during the final three minutes of the first quarter.

Starting lineups

The Suns are starting Eric Gordon and Grayson Allen in the backcourt, Josh Okogie and Kevin Durant as the respective three- and four-man, and Yusuf Nurkic in the middle.

Phoenix is running back this same starting lineup that it had in its Thursday loss to the L.A. Lakers, in which Gordon and Allen replaced the injured Devin Booker and Bradley Beal and the one and two.

Utah will start Talen Horton-Tucker and Jordan Clarkson at guard, John Collins and the team's All-Star Lauri Markannen at forward, and Walker Kessler at center.

No Booker, Beal for Suns again

Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will miss their second straight game together on Saturday against Utah.

The two Phoenix All-Stars are out from left ankle sprain and lower back spasms, respectively.

Booker was reduced from doubtful to unavailable shortly before Phoenix's pregame shootaround, per The Republic's Duane Rankin. Booker's injury stems from tweaking his ankle during the fourth quarter in their season-opening win at Golden State on Tuesday.

Beal has yet to play through Phoenix's first three games, and has had backup shooting guard Grayson Allen start in his place the previous two. He hasn't played since Phoenix beat Portland in the second to last preseason game at home on Oct. 16.
