PFF grades: Michigan football’s top 10 offensive players vs. Purdue

It was a glorious night for Michigan football on Saturday. The Wolverines beat Purdue to win their second consecutive Big Ten Championship after walking out of Indianapolis with a 43-22 win.

The maize and blue offense scored 29 points in the second half and sealed the win for Michigan. After beating Purdue the Wolverines finished a perfect 13-0 and Michigan will turn its attention to TCU in the playoff.

The Wolverines gained 386 yards of total offense on Saturday. Donovan Edwards led the Wolverines, winning MVP of the game, as he ran for 185 yards and a score against the Boilermakers.

J.J. McCarthy’s stats weren’t eye-popping in the win, but he was efficient. The sophomore passed for 161 yards and three touchdowns. His only hiccup was an interception when it appeared he was trying to do a little much on the play.

Ronnie Bell, Luke Schoonmaker, and Colston Loveland all caught a touchdown pass on Saturday night.
