Here are the Patriots’ 2023 draft picks

When it was all said and done, the New England Patriots ended the 2023 NFL draft with 12 selections in total. It was a massive haul for a team looking to get back on track after missing the playoffs last season.

The goal going into this draft was obviously to throw as many darts at the board as possible and see what sticks. This wasn’t a situation of coach Bill Belichick hoarding picks for a future draft.

On the first two days, the team focused on beefing up the defense, which was the only bright spot in the 2022 season. They then turned their attention towards the offense and special teams on Day 3.

Overall, it ended up being a solid draft class from Belichick and the Patriots. Whether it’s enough to actually get them back to playoff contention remains to be seen.

Here is the Patriots’ 2023 NFL draft class:

Round 1, pick No. 17: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon
