Pat Connaughton NBA Tracker: Jan. 10-16

The good news for Pat Connaughton is that he began last week having cleared the NBA’s health and safety protocols. The bad news is the time off appears to have taken a toll on the Milwaukee Bucks guard. In fact, it could be argued that this past week shouldn’t reflect on who he is simply because of the circumstances surrounding his recent missed time.

Connaughton returned to game action Jan. 10 in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets. There, he was held scoreless for the first time this season on 0-of-6 shooting with five of those shots coming from 3-point range. On Jan. 13, he hit one 3-pointer, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists in a win over the Golden State Warriors. He followed that with a five-point, three-rebound effort Jan. 15, when the Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors.

For this week in which Connaughton was getting back into game shape, he averaged 2.7 points and 3.3 rebounds a game while shooting only 2 of 11 from the field.
