An update on Owen Pappoe vs Georgia

Auburn linebacker Owen Pappoe has missed time this season since he suffered an ankle injury against Penn State.

He was questionable to make a return against LSU last weekend and has been labeled as a game-time decision for Saturday’s contest against Georgia.

Per Justin Hokanson of Auburn Live, Pappoe is not expected to play against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Zakoby McClain and Chandler Wooten are expected to get the start when Auburn is in two linebacker sets. Cam Riley has played well when he has gone in the game when Auburn wants to use three linebackers in their defense. The physical nature of Georgia’s defense will require a lot from Auburn’s linebackers Saturday.

The Tigers take on Georgia at 2:30 CT on CBS.
