One outlet claims Ohio State is one of two finalists for Bronny James
The Bronny James and Ohio State saga continues. There have been plenty of developments over the last few months, so here’s a quick recap before getting to the most recent news.
First came a report that James was down to three schools, USC, Oregon and Ohio State. The issue for the Buckeyes was the lack of an available scholarship.
That changed when Eugene Brown III entered the transfer portal, giving head coach Chris Holtmann a spot to fill. There is also the strong possibility Brice Sensabaugh heads to the NBA after already deciding to go through the process while still maintaining his eligibility.
Now, CBB Content, who has a blue check mark (but who really knows which ones to trust nowadays), is claiming James is down to two schools: Ohio State and USC.
Bronny James recruitment is pretty much down to Ohio State and USC.
USC is starting to pick up a lot of steam.
USC 5 star signee Isaiah Collier is recruiting James: "I'm looking forward to playing with him, and I'm definitely trying to recruit him.”

James doesn’t do many interviews. In fact, he was one of the few players not to speak at the McDonald’s All-American game, but reporters were able to get him for a few minutes at the Nike Hoop Summit. He answered a few questions but when asked about his timeline for committing, a representative nixed the question.

At this point it’s hard to say where James is leaning, but I wouldn’t count out Oregon as the above tweet claims. After all, he is in Portland, Oregon, for this event and their coaches aren’t far away. According to another report, his decision could be coming very soon.
