Oklahoma high school basketball: All-City Athletic Conference announces 2023-24 awards

Oklahoma City Public Schools’ All-City Athletic Conference recently announced its 2023-24 high school basketball awards, and the top honors went to Douglass.

Kiara Smith of Douglass is the Girls Basketball Player of the Year, while Landry Ballard Jr. of Douglass is the Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Ballard provided leadership on the way to his team’s second straight Class 4A state title, and Smith played a key role in the girls team’s turnaround, which culminated with a state semifinal appearance.
