OKC Thunder news: Mark Daigneault provides injury update on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Before the Oklahoma City Thunder’s preseason win against the NBL’s Adelaide 36ers, head coach Mark Daigneault provided an update on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The update to Gilgeous-Alexander after missing the last two weeks with a sprained MCL is that there’s not much of an update.

“The timetable on Shai is still undetermined,” said Daigneault. “We just can’t pinpoint.. but he’s progressing and we’ll let you know.”

Daigneault also mentioned Gilgeous-Alexander is participating in everything but full-contact drills. In the last two preseason games, Gilgeous-Alexander was seen warming up on the court in pregame.

The Thunder starts their regular season in two weeks against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 19.
