Six NFL teams have clinched playoff berths entering the NFL Week 17 schedule.

Four of them will face off in this week's games.

The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys face off on Saturday in Dallas in a game pitting two of the four NFC teams to have earned a postseason berth (the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers are the others).

On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins play in Baltimore in a matchup between the only two AFC teams currently in the NFL postseason.

Sunday early football games predictions, Dec. 31

Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Dolphins are 11-4, but only have one win against a winning team all season (last week against the Cowboys). The Ravens will continue to soar.

Prediction: Ravens 24, Dolphins 20

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Bills are 6-2 on the season and finally playing up to expectations. We expect them to rout the Patriots, just as the massive line in this game indicates.

Prediction: Bills 31, Patriots 13

Atlanta Falcons at Chicago Bears, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Falcons need this game to have a shot at a playoff berth. Younghoe Koo will hit a late field goal to keep those playoff hopes alive.

Prediction: Falcons 21, Bears 20

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

This game is a must-win for the Texans if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. Houston is a good team at home, and that will help them edge the Titans.

Prediction: Texans 23, Titans 20

Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Raiders are attempting to make a late-season playoff push. That they are even close is a testament to the great job Antonio Pierce has done as interim coach.

Prediction: Raiders 24, Colts 20

Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Jaguars have lost four straight games. They can't afford to drop a fifth, especially one to the Panthers. They won't.

Prediction: Jaguars 21, Panthers 14

Los Angeles Rams at New York Giants, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Rams are a different team with Kyren Williams in the backfield and they are a team that could make some noise in the NFL Playoffs.

Prediction: Rams 28, Giants 16

Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

Jonathan Gannon makes his return to Philadelphia, now as the Cardinals head coach. It won't go well for Arizona.

Prediction:  Eagles 30, Cardinals 17

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

This is a huge game in the NFC South, but you have to give the edge to the home team. The Buccaneers' roll will continue.

Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Saints 20

San Francisco 49ers at Washington Commanders, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

We expect the 49ers to come out very angry after their loss to the Ravens last week. Bad news for Washington.

Prediction: 49ers 31, Commanders 20

Sunday late football games prediction, Dec. 31

Pittsburgh Steelers at Seattle Seahawks, 2:05 p.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

Both of these teams really need to win this game to help their playoff cause. The 12th man will push Seattle over the top.

Prediction: Seahawks 23, Steelers 20

Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos, 2:25 p.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Broncos picked a terrible time to lose two straight games. A third straight loss would end Denver's playoff hopes.

Prediction: Chargers 21, Broncos 17

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs, 2:25 p.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

Jake Browning is the key to this game. If he plays like he did in Week 16, Cincinnati doesn't have a prayer.

Prediction: Chiefs 27, Bengals 20
