UFC to Return to London's O2 Arena in 2015

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will return to London’s O2 Arena on Feb. 28, 2015. UFC president Dana White announced the planned event during the UFC Fight Night 37 post-fight press conference on Saturday.

The UFC first took the Octagon overseas to London in July 2002 with UFC 38 at the Royal Albert Hall. The promotion returned to London five years later in September 2007 with UFC 75, and it became an annual stop until 2010. Three years would pass before the organization held another event there in February of 2013.

UFC Fight Night 37 featured a light heavyweight main attraction between top 205-pound contender Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa. Gustafsson further solidified his place in the division with a second round finish, ending Manuwa’s 14-fight unbeaten streak.
