Everything’s coming up right for Sergio Garcia right now. He’s the new Masters champion, for one. But, before that, he got engaged to his girlfriend and former Golf Channel reporter Angela Akins.

The couple is getting married in July, and the Spaniard has given some thought in the last 36 hours about potentially wearing his new green jacket down the aisle for the nuptials.

“We were just talking about it. This one is a little bit too big,” he said of the jacket he wore at the awards ceremony on Sunday, according to Golf Channel. “It would be nice, but I don’t know. We’ll get to that point when we get there.”

A pro tip for Sergio: You’re not wearing that green jacket when you get married. Even though you get it for a year from your win until you start your title defense, there are certain times — admittedly, rare — where it’s better to just leave the jacket in the closet. This is going to be one of those times. But there’s still three months or so to change the motif of the wedding and the related sartorial and decorative decisions that would come with a green-and-yellow theme.

But I would bet against the 37-year-old Sergio saying “I do” in his Masters Club jacket.
