Jets sign Greg Salas, IR Mike Goodson, Clyde Gates
In addition to signing former Pro Bowl kick returner Josh Cribbs, the New York Jets have signed wide receiver Greg Salas off the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad.
The Jets placed wide receiver Clyde Gates (shoulder) and running back Mike Goodson (torn anterior cruciate ligament) on injured reserve. Running back Miguel Maysonet (Stony Brook) was signed to the practice squad.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Cribbs has 11 return touchdowns for his career.
Santonio Holmes has missed the past two games with foot and hamstring injuries.
Salas is a former St. Louis Rams fourth-round pick from Hawaii who has 27 career receptions for 264 yards.
As a senior, Maysonet rushed for 1,964 yards and 21 touchdowns.
