NC State vs. South Carolina predictions

Action Network: NC State +11.5

Dano Matayo writes: "A Final Four double-digit underdog. I know it's South Carolina, and the Gamecocks can turn it on at any point, but N.C. State is playing extremely well and guard play has been incredibly important throughout this tournament. Plus, it's a revenge game for Saniya Rivers. I don't she left on bad terms, but it's still something. I think this is just too many points for the pressure of a Final Four game. South Carolina has a lot of young players, so I think you have to take the points with N.C. State."

The Athletic: South Carolina wins

Grayce Raynor and Sabreena Merchant write: "If we assume both teams’ guards will have their moments, it seems like this game will come down to who’s better down low. N.C. State forward River Baldwin likely will be in charge of Cardoso. She and the Wolfpack already matched up well against Stanford’s Cameron Brink in the Sweet 16, but Cardoso could be an even more imposing challenge. South Carolina’s bench will also be a major challenge from the Wolfpack. The Gamecocks are built for March, averaging nearly 34 points per game from their reserves."

ESPN: Gamecocks have a 83% chance to win

According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, the South Carolina Gamecocks have a 83.8% chance of beating the N.C. State Wolfpack in the Final Four.
