NBA championship odds: Where Bucks, Suns stand after Damian Lillard, Deandre Ayton trade

There is a new favorite to win the 2023-24 NBA Finals and it's one of the teams involved in the blockbuster NBA trade on Wednesday.

The Milwaukee Bucks are now the 2023-24 NBA title favorites according to updated NBA championship odds for the upcoming season released by FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Bucks acquired guard Damian Lillard in a massive trade Wednesday, that included the Phoenix Suns sending Deandre Ayton and Toumani Camara to the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Suns are receiving Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little, Keon Johnson and Grayson Allen in the deal.

Milwaukee had been +650 in odds to win the NBA championship before the trade.

As for the Suns, they are now fourth in odds to win the 2023-24 NBA Finals, at +600.

The Boston Celtics are second, at +490 and the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, are +500.

The Suns had been at +670 in odds to win the NBA title after the Bradley Beal trade in June.

The Suns and Bucks played in the 2021 NBA Finals. Wouldn't it be something if they met again in the 2024 Finals after being involved in this trade?
