NASCAR Cup Series at Texas: Starting lineup, TV schedule for Sunday's race

The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continues into the Round of 12, starting with Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Michael McDowell were eliminated from the playoffs after last Saturday's race in Bristol. Logano, the defending champion, struggled for most of the season after an early victory in the regular season. Harvick, in his final full-time Cup season, struggled all night at Bristol in a normally good race track for the No. 4 team. Stenhouse, the Daytona 500 champion, had a tough draw with the first three races of the playoffs. McDowell, the Indianapolis road course winner, struggled throughout the Round of 16.

The new round and points reset helps Martin Truex Jr., who was fortunate to make the Round of 12. But with the points reset, Truex now is tied for the points lead.
