Highlights from Monday in high school sports:

BASEBALL

  • Ethan Broome pitched a three-hit, eight-inning shutout with seven strikeouts and Michael Moran delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth to lift Agoura (8-6, 2-2) to a 1-0 win over Oaks Christian in a Marmonte League game. Will Michelman and Gavin Trafficanda had hits for the Chargers. Jack Laubacher allowed just two hits while striking out 10 in six shutout innings and Carson Sheffer, Elijah Clayton and Luke Puls had hits for the Lions (6-5, 2-2).

  • Andrew Habermann allowed one run on five hits while striking out five in six innings to improve to 5-1 on the season, Jack Braddell hit a solo home run, Kaden Youmans was 2 for 4 with an RBI, Nate Johnson had a double and an RBI, and Dillon Marrisett went 2 for 4 to lead Westlake (11-2, 2-2) to an 8-1 win over Thousand Oaks in a Marmonte League game. Cade Miller went 2 for 3 and Dane Holt was 1 for 2 with an RBI for the Lancers (7-7, 1-3).

  • Brandon Hoffman went 4 for 4 with a double, home run and three RBIs, Mason Shulman was 3 for 3 with two RBIs, AJ Seidel went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI, Nate Castellon went 2 for 4 with an RBI, and Jordan Kingston allowed one run while striking out seven in six innings to lead Calabasas (9-5, 3-1) to an 11-1 win over Newbury Park in a Marmonte League game. Cole Munyon went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI and Cameron Fausset was 1 for 3 for the Panthers (7-5, 2-2).

  • Boston Bateman was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs and Troy Arenzana went 2 for 4 with two RBIs to lead Camarillo (11-3) to a 5-2 victory over Pacifica in a nonleague game. Riley Ortega was 2 for 4 with a double, Devon Wilkes went 1 for 2 with a double, and Bobby Ramirez had a hit and an RBI for the Tritons (6-9-1).

  • Landen Adair went 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI, Danny Pina was 2 for 3 with an RBI, and Collin Yamamoto had a double and an RBI for Simi Valley (6-6-2) in its 13-6 loss to Cathedral Catholic in the San Diego Lions Tournament.

  • Cooper Casey finished 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs, Robert Juker and Russell Brown each went 2 for 4 with an RBI, Shane White was 1 for 2 with an RBI, and Adam Arth had a double and two stolen bases for Foothill Tech (6-7-1) in its 16-8 loss to Castaic in a nonleague game.

SOFTBALL

  • Audrina Tinoco had a homer and two RBIs, Rachel Godoy was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and allowed just two hits in five scoreless innings in the circle, Azaria Aguilar went 2 for 4 and pitched two innings, and Izzy Padilla was 1 for 2 with two RBIs to lead St. Bonaventure (13-1-1) to a 9-1 victory over Buena in a nonleague game. Isabella rodriguez had a double and Aubrey Trigo had an RBI for the Bulldogs (4-9).

  • Lea Tapia allowed four hits and one run while striking out nine in six innings, Sophia Valencia went 3 for 5, Jadalynn Sovey had a triple and two RBIs, Justice Flores was 2 for 3, Alianna Rodriguez had a double and two RBIs, Cali Howe was 1 for 3 with an RBI, and Laynee Flores went 1 for 2 with an RBI to lead Camarillo (12-2) to a 9-3 win over Burbank in a nonleague game.
