Memphis Grizzlies vs. Bucks live score updates: Giannis Antetokounmpo active for Milwaukee

Can the Memphis Grizzlies make it two in a row before the All-Star break?

Memphis snapped a nine-game losing streak with Wednesday's win over the Rockets and now faces the Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back. Thursday will be the last game for both teams before the All-Star break.

The Grizzlies are severely shorthanded once again, with coach Taylor Jenkins saying pregame that Jaren Jackson Jr., Luke Kennard and John Konchar are all out tonight. They join the seven players already ruled out before the game, including Ja Morant, Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart.

That means Grizzlies fans will likely see more of GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr., who both shined in Wednesday's win. The development of those two players has been one of the only silver linings in what's otherwise been a lost season for Memphis.

All three of the Bucks' star players are on the injury report — Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable, Damian Lillard is listed as probable and Khris Middleton is listed as out.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Bucks live score updates

Final: Grizzlies 113, Bucks 110

The Grizzlies got an unexpected win thanks to huge games from Ziaire Williams, Vince Williams Jr. and GG Jackson. The Bucks were favored by 14 points, but they didn't make enough plays down the stretch and the Grizzlies will take a two-game winning streak into the All-Star break.

Ziaire Williams and GG Jackson pull the lead back

Williams and Jackson have both been outstanding tonight, and Williams converts a three-point play to put the Grizzlies up five with 2:15 to play.

Giannis takes over

The Bucks are back on top after Antetokounpo checked back into the game and immediately picked up where he'd left off. He's up to 33 points on the night and just forced a timeout from Taylor Jenkins.

End of third quarter: Grizzlies 94, Bucks 85

Against all odds, the Grizzlies have the lead heading into the fourth quarter. They haven't been able to stop Antetokounpo — he has 27 points — but have matched his scoring thanks to major offensive contributions from Ziaire Williams and GG Jackson. And they're ahead in a high-scoring game about to head down the stretch.

Grizzlies build lead

Memphis jumped out to a lead at the beginning of the second half, but the Bucks fought back and made it a 5-point game. Ziaire Williams has been hot to start the half.

Halftime: Grizzlies 57, Bucks 57

The Bucks were 14-point favorites coming in to the game, but the Grizzlies have hung in there. Giannis Antetokounpo has 13 points and seven assists, while Lillard has 13 ponits and four assists. But Jackson is up to 19 points and has the Grizzlies firmly in the game.

GG Jackson catches fire

Jackson has been scoring more and more in the last few games, but he's on a heater tonight. He already has 16 points less than halfway through the second quarter and is 4-of-6 on 3-pointers.

End of first quarter: Grizzlies 29, Bucks 26

The Bucks took an early lead, but the Grizzlies fought back into it near the end of the quarter. GG Jackson hit a 3-pointer with a few seconds left in the quarter to give the Grizzlies the lead, and he's got a game-high 11 points. Damian Lillard leads Milwaukee with 10.

Grizzlies using another new starting lineup

The Grizzlies had to roll out a starting lineup that would have been unfathomable a few weeks ago — Jordan Goodwin, Vince Williams Jr. Ziaire Williams, Santi Aldama and Trey Jemison. Goodwin is on a 10-day contract, while Jemison was on a 10-day before he was signed to a two-way deal earlier this month.
