Meet Greater Fall River's High School Boys Indoor Track All-Scholastic Team
FALL RIVER — The Herald News continues Winter All-Scholastics with boys indoor track all-stars.
Athletes from Greater Fall River high schools put on a show during each meet in their respective events. None more so than Somerset Berkley senior Camden Rose, who was chosen as the Herald News Boys Indoor Athlete of the Year.

Male Athlete of the Year
Camden Rose, Somerset Berkley
Camden Rose had an absolute standout season for the Raiders this winter. The SBR senior accumulated the most varsity points over the regular season while competing in the 300 and 600 meters. He was also team’s Most Valuable Player and named an South Coast Conference All-Star. Rose went undefeated in the 300 in league competition and placed first at the SCC championship meet.
He won the 600 in every regular-season dual-meet that he ran. Rose, who broke his own record twice, placed first in the 300 at both the Small Schools Coaches Invitational (34.90) and the MIAA Division 3 state meet (34.96). He placed third overall at the Meet of Champions with a time of 34.93 seconds. His final performance of the season rendered him a fourth place medal at New Englands with a time of 35.23 seconds. Rose also participated in the Shuttle Dash — new team relay record for SBR — in 4x200 relay and 4x400 relay at several state level meets, earning several medals with his relay.
