Masters scoreboard: Live leaderboard, tee times for second round at Augusta National

Though it stretched over two days, the first round of the 2024 edition of the Masters is now complete.

By sunset on Thursday, Bryson DeChambeau led the group of 89 golfers in the field after firing off a brilliant 65-stroke first round in which he birdied eight of the 18 holes.

Trailing closely behind him was Scottie Scheffler, the world No. 1 player and 2022 Masters champion who rallied Thursday to birdie four of his final seven first-round holes to finish just one stroke behind DeChambeau.

They'll resume play early Friday morning, with some golfers having to play as many as eight holes before a relatively quick turnaround later in the day with the start of the second round.

The first group Friday is scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m. ET.
