Marion County High School Sports: Baseball, Softball, Beach Volleyball, Track in postseason
Every spring sport in Marion County is officially in the postseason. Baseball, softball and boys volleyball all enter district tournaments this week.
Boys volleyball offers a week of the county's high school teams going back and forth in search of a district title. Could someone upset the prime-time rubber match between West Port and Forest in the finals?
Beach volleyball and track and field enter regional championship play. All four beach volleyball matches and the track meets will take place on the road.
You'll find plenty of action on the diamond. Vanguard and Belleview host district softball tournaments. Trinity Catholic and North Marion host baseball district tournaments.
