Madden 24 ratings reveal: Kansas City Chiefs top rated team, Patrick Mahomes leads QBs

It's that time of year, when NFL players and fans embrace or rage at the release of Madden ratings.

With Madden 24 less than a month away from being released, EA Sports will be releasing the ratings of the top players at each position throughout the week. Here is the order of what positions will be released this week:

• Monday: Wide receivers and safeties

• Tuesday: Edge rushers and defensive linemen

• Wednesday: Running backs and offensive linemen

• Thursday: Cornerbacks and tight ends

• Friday: Quarterbacks, linebackers, punters, kickers and fullbacks

• Saturday: Team ratings

Madden 24 team ratings

It only makes sense the reigning Super Bowl champions are the top rated team in Madden 24. The Kansas City Chiefs are at 92, as nine of the top 10 team were in the playoffs last season. Here are the top Madden 24 teams and their ratings:

Travis Kelce back in the 99 club

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was revealed as a returning member of the 99 club on Madden 24. Kelce has earned a 99 rating more than any tight end in the history of Madden.

Kelce becomes the fourth player in Madden 24 with a 99 rating, joining Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald and Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Zack Martin.

Madden 24 running back ratings

Only six running backs earned ratings higher than 90, led by a 97 from Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns. Here are the top running backs and their ratings:

Aaron Donald makes history

For a record seventh consecutive season Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald was awarded a 99 rating and is the top-rated player in the game. Donald was previously tied with Peyton Manning.

Madden 24 comes out Aug. 18, but EA Play early access or those who purchase the deluxe edition will be able to play early access on Aug. 15.
