LSU men’s basketball continues to rise in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll

The LSU men’s basketball just keeps on rolling. They are coming off the come from behind win over in-state rivals, Louisiana Tech. Tari Eason and Darius Days led the way to give the Tigers their 11th win of the year. It kept their perfect season intact ahead of SEC play that opens next week.

This week in the Ferris Mowers USA TODAY Sports Coaches poll the Tigers were able to leapfrog over Texas to get closer to the top 15. Will Wade’s group jumps four spots to No. 16. SEC foe Arkansas was dropped from the rankings after their loss to Hofstra on Saturday. The SEC has a total of five teams in the top 25 with Tennessee as the lowest-ranked conference team.

LSU has one more game against a nonconference opponent before jumping into SEC play with Auburn on Dec. 29.
