LSU makes 4-star tight end’s final 11

·1 min read

Martavious Collins is a 6-foot-3, 241-pound tight end from Rome, Georgia, who recently announced his final 11 schools. LSU made that list, and he has set a commitment date of July 20.

The Tigers join Alabama, NC State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisville, Cincinnati, Auburn, and Michigan State on the list of finalists. According to On3, NC State is currently the favorite at 30.2%, and there is no Crystal Ball prediction on 247Sports for Collins.

He is ranked as the No. 36 player in the country for the 2023 class by 247Sports, so he would be an incredible pickup for whatever team he decides to play for. Brian Kelly and LSU could definitely use him next season and for years to come as the Tigers are thin at tight end.

Mac Markway is currently committed as a four-star tight end for the 2023 class. He and Collins would be a dynamic duo for LSU.
