LSU basketball vs. North Texas in NIT opener: Get live scores and updates here

LSU basketball opens the NIT on when the Tigers (17-15) host the North Texas Mean Green (18-14) at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The games slated to be televised on the SEC Network.

LSU lost in the second round of the SEC tournament to Mississippi State last week, and was passed over for a March Madness bid. However, the Tigers ranked high enough in the NET rankings to qualify for the NIT.

The Mean Green is back in the NIT for the third straight year, and is looking to build off its 2023 NIT championship.

These two teams faced off in November, with LSU defeating North Texas, 66-62.
