Final Scores: Follow Week 5 Emerald Coast High School football games

Welcome to rivalry week.

With next week's midseason awards looming, we have a loaded slate of games tonight led by Choctaw-Niceville and South Walton-Walton.

Unbeaten Walton (3-0), ranked ninth in 2S and rested after a bye last week, looks for a second straight win over its top rival after defeating the 3-1 Seahawks, 61-14, last year.

Niceville (3-1), ranked ninth in 4S, enters with an 11-game win streak over the Big Green (3-1), who rank 7th in 3S after an impressive 35-14 win over previously 5th-ranked Pine Forest (3-1). Choctaw also hasn't beaten Niceville at Eagle Stadium since 2001, well before any member of the team was even born.

I wouldn't miss the latter matchup for anything, so I'll be at Eagle Stadium tonight. Follow me at @SethSnwfdn on X, formerly known as Twitter, for stats, score updates, video and color commentary. Below is the rest of the schedule, which will be updated through our live scoreboard.
