Little League Opening Day Parade steps off in Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Baseball season is underway in New York and some little batters are also kicking off their season.

The Peter Stuyvesant Little League Opening Day Parade steps off in Manhattan on Saturday at 8 a.m., according to organizers. The parade celebrates the 50th anniversary of girls being allowed to play in Little League.

Little League is the largest youth sport in the nation with millions participating.
