The Lions announce Tauren Wells will perform the National Anthem on Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving marks the only national television appearance for the Detroit Lions in 2022. The annual Turkey Day game is always a big deal for the city, the team and the fans.
This year, the fans inside Ford Field will get another special guest singing the National Anthem prior to kickoff. Contemporary Christian music star Tauren Wells will perform the anthem, the Lions announced in a press release.
Wells is a native of Battle Creek, Michigan, and has won numerous music industry awards.
