The late, legendary Jim Brown had big numbers vs. Cardinals

The NFL lost a legend this past week when Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown died at 87 years old. While Brown never played for the Arizona Cardinals (or the St. Louis Cardinals) in his career, the team did honor his death with a post on social media.

How did Brown do in his career against the Cardinals?

He had more rushing yards against the Cardinals than all but one team in his career.

In 18 games against the Cardinals, his teams went 13-3-2. He had 408 total rushing attempts for 2,058 yards and 21 touchdowns, averaging 5.04 yards per attempt against them.

His 408 carries were the most Brown had against any team.

His 2,058 yards were more than all teams except for the Philadelphia Eagles, against whom he had 2,193.

His 21 rushing touchdowns against the Cardinals were three more than the the 18 he scored against the Eagles.

The 13 wins his teams had against the Cardinals were fewer only than the 15 against the Washington Redskins.

Brown put up big numbers against the Cardinals.
