The latest MIAA Power Rankings are out. Where do Greater Taunton area teams stand?

TAUNTON— The latest edition of the MIAA Power Rankings for basketball and hockey were released Friday morning.

As it stands, nine Greater Taunton area basketball and hockey teams are on pace to qualify for the postseason: seven by being ranked in their respective divisions top 32 and two by their records.

All teams ranked in the top 32 of their division, as well as any team ranked below 32 with a record of .500 or better, will qualify for their division's respective tournament.

Here's how things stand as of Friday morning:

Boys Basketball

Division 1: In- Taunton (21) Out- Bridgewater-Raynham (41)

Division 2: Out- Bristol-Plymouth (65)

Division 3: In- Dighton-Rehoboth (27)

Girls Basketball

Division 1: In- Bridgewater-Raynham (11), Taunton (16)

Division 2: Out- Bristol-Plymouth (67)

Division 3: Out- Dighton-Rehoboth (57)
