Lady Vols comeback to defeat South Florida

No. 16 Tennessee (3-0) captured a comeback victory over a top-25 opponent Monday.

The Lady Vols overcame a fourth-quarter deficit to defeat No. 23 South Florida, 52-49, at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Tennessee trailed the Bulls, 44-38, after three quarters. The Lady Vols outscored South Florida, 14-5, over the final 10 minutes to keep their perfect record intact.

Jordan Horston had a game-high 24 points for Tennessee. She also finished with nine rebounds and four assists.

Center Tamari Key finished the contest with a double-double as she scored 10 points and recorded 10 rebounds against USF.

Alexus Dye added six points and seven rebounds for the Lady Vols.

Elena Tsinke led the Bulls with 13 points.
