LA Dodgers announcer Joe Davis to replace Joe Buck on Fox's World Series broadcasts

Joe Davis, the television voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will replace Joe Buck as play-by-play analyst for Fox's World Series broadcasts.

Davis' wife, Libby, confirmed on Instagram a New York Post report that the 34-year-old broadcaster who replaced the legendary Vin Scully in the Dodgers' broadcast booth in 2017 will team with analyst John Smoltz to call World Series games. In 2018, Fox extended its rights deal with Major League Baseball, keeping the World Series, All-Star Game and playoff series on the network through 2028.

"I get teary eyed every time I think about how PROUD and excited am I about this. Can’t wait for October to see @joedavispxp call the World Series!! 🎉❤️" Libby Davis wrote on Instagram.
