Andy Koch's recruitment seemed to heat up back in the spring. During the evaluation period, college coaches visited Roosevelt HS in Corona, Calif. on a regular basis to inquire about the 6-foot-6 and 251-pound defensive end.

It was during that time that Koch picked up scholarship offers from Arizona, BYU, Colorado, Oregon State and Washington State, among others. In fact, the evaluation period resulted in eight scholarship offers, including quite a few from the Big 12 and Pac-12 conferences.

But on Tuesday, Koch attempted to cool down his heated recruiting process a bit. He did that by making a college decision. He announced his commitment to Oregon State.

Koch is being recruited to Oregon State as a defensive lineman (which he prefers) but his versatility could help the Beavers as he can play along the offensive line as well.
