Josh Heupel details Jeremiah Crawford’s progression

Jeremiah Crawford has appeared in nine games for Tennessee during the 2021 regular season.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman signed with Tennessee on national signing day in February. He played at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas before transferring to Tennessee.

First-year Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel discussed Crawford’s progression while preparing for Purdue in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl on Dec. 30.

“He’s a guy that, coming out of junior college, got here middle part of the summer and continued to grow strength and conditioning wise just with his frame and strength as we’ve gone through the early part of the season,” Heupel said of Crawford. “Schematically, just understanding and growing into the position, has grown a ton throughout the course of it, and expect him to only continue to get better here inside of our program.”
