CLEVELAND — Carlos Carrasco pitched six strong innings Sunday and Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor each hit two-run homers to lead the Guardians to a 4-1 win over the Angels. It was the second straight win by Cleveland (22-12) over the Angels after dropping the series opener Friday.

Ramirez hit his two-run homer in the sixth, giving the Guardians a 2-1 lead. Naylor added his two-run shot in the eighth inning, his second hit of the game.

Ramirez entered the at-bat in an 0-for-19 slump. He then fouled off several pitches and took a close pitch for a ball before hitting his homer on the 10th pitch of the at-bat.

Ramirez also tied Hall of Famer Larry Doby for the most go-ahead home runs in franchise history. They each have 86 go-ahead homers, followed by Hall of Famer Jim Thome (85) and Albert Belle (82).
