Joique Bell finds the end zone in win over Giants

Lions running back Joique Bell didn't get the start but received the first handoff of the night Week 1 against the Giants. However, he made more of a presence in the second half when New York's front seven was worn-down.

After nearly losing a fumble and finishing the first half with 6 yards on six carries, Bell bounced back with a spinning touchdown run from 3 yards out. He finished with 15 carries for a team-high 51 yards and a touchdown on the ground, averaging 3.4 yards per attempt. He caught his only target for a gain of 5 yards in a 35-14 victory.

Bell will look to score in back-to-back games -- something he only did once in 2013 -- come Week 2 at Carolina. Three of his eight rushing touchdowns came away from Ford Field last season.
