Joe Ingles points to makeshift headband after late basket in Utah's 96-88 win over Memphis
Joe Ingles might want to make the headband a permanent addition.
The Utah Jazz small forward briefly left the game late in the fourth quarter after he started bleeding.

The cut on his forehead was bandaged up in time for him to finish the game against the Memphis Grizzlies though.
And clearly his make-shift headband/bandage added something to his game. After draining a three, the Australian native pointed to his headband as if it gave him some mystical basketball power.

He did have a game-high 19 points so maybe he knew something we didn’t. His teammates were going nuts in the locker room after the game.
In the Utah Jazz locker room, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Dante Exum and Derrick Favors have all cracked up laughing when talking about Joe Ingles’ headband. A win and some grit from Ingles has eased the moons massively.

Sadly, it looks like the bandage-headband might not make another appearance though. Ingles received four stitches after the game according to reporter Eric Woodyard.
