Jets flying cross country to meet with Aaron Rodgers

The Jets-Aaron Rodgers continues to gain steam and the team is really starting to make their push for the quarterback. So much so that they have flown across the country to California to meet with Rodgers, who was given permission by Green Bay to meet with the Jets.

Talks began Monday and have continued into Tuesday. Those talks will now be in person as the Jets make their push for their No. 1 target this offseason.

Rodgers is due almost $60 million in 2023, with almost $59 million coming in the form of an option bonus. The teams could eventually discuss how the money will be paid out in terms of how much of the money Green Bay will retain.

Still a ways to go, but Rodgers to the Jets is becoming more of a reality by the day.
